It will be interesting to see how much it costs. With a little slice and dice, I think it would also work with drop bars!

Hey, that looks great! Thanks for the heads up. I think I'll put one on my cross check for bag and flat-thing schlepping.

Yeah...it does look great, but I haven't found anything on the Wald site yet or anything about pricing. Only time will tell....

I've been periodically checking the soma sites for news or whatnot. Could be a less expensive, albeit less sturdy, alternative to a Cetma rack.

I just converted a kid's trailer into a cargo trailer that features a bottom like that new Wald rack, and it has been super-convenient when something needs to be tied down with a bungee cord.

Agreed, but it looks sturdier than any Wald front rack made so far, and I can afford it! :D

what is the price?

have had plans to do a basket/ porter for some time. sometimes the lines are important rather than just something off the rack. things just have to look cool in my eye.. picked up some sheet metal puched with 3/8" holes in it. gonna take pics of the build. got excited watching the oregon manifest then seeing the NAHMB show. i think in the coming years big big BIGGER things are coming to cycling.
