I have a defy advanced carbon frame endurance road bike. I have around a 15 mile each way commute to work.

I can wear casual so I just need to carry potential foul weather gear and clothes, plus lunch to work each day.

I Ned suggestions on lights and storage for this bike.

I have no interest in new wheels or hubs so Ned my lights to be rechargeable somehow.

Thanks

Check out the lighting threads in the Electronics, Lighting and Gadgets forum. You should be able to find lights with battery packs that will last 4 hours.

As for storage, since you have a carbon road bike, I doubt it's going to have mounts for racks, and you have to be careful about attaching stuff to carbon. You can find fairly roomy trunk bags that attach to the seat post. The Topeak Dynapak is one. You might also find large bags that attach to the seat. Personally, I would attaching anything to the carbon frame.
