I'm not too familiar with the models that Apollo had, can't seem to make out a tubing sticker either, probably Ishiwata tubing of some sort. Thoughts? Anyone have any personal experience?

I sold my Apollo Grand Tourist (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/Feature_Bicycles/Feature_Bicycles_Japan/Apollo_Gran_Touriste/APOLLO_GRAN_TOURISTE_1_Start.htm) for either $350 or $450 USD, plus shipping costs, about three years ago(sorry about my poor memory). My bike was in excellent condition and I do regret letting it go...

I have an Apollo Gran Tour. It's different than your. Maybe lower grade too. I really like it except I'm always scared of falling on the top bar. This frame is quite tall (24" I think) and I'm used to raised up high seats and bars not that the top tube is close to my crotch. Not sure of the value tho. I got mine for free in a pile of bikes ready to go to the metal recycler. What a shame. But it's safe now.
Please don't mind the green sticker and the bike mess behind. :)

Thinking about it, one of my favorite ride is an Apollo and I also have some others that are in the repair pile that I have never tried yet. I will check what they are tomorrow.
here's my Apollo ladies. Maybe not related but she rides really well.

Looks around a 58 , maybe 57? I'm thinking I may grab it, though it would be a present for my Dad.
