If it's solid, you can grind it.

Most important thing to remember before grinding is EYE PROTECTION. Second most important is make sure the thing you're grinding is not so small that it can't be held securely. You don't want a bolt you're grinding on to free itself from your grip & go shooting across the room (& you slip & grind your knuckles). Also be sure your clothing is not in reach of the grinding wheel. Anything can be ground if you have the patience & proper equipment. Have fun.

If it's cement or any very rough surface the you should probably febel it because if you try and double peg or smith a cement ledge that isn't waxed like crazy your front peg will stick and you will flip forward. If you febel it though your front tire is riding across the top of the ledge and you can't flip forward. Go slow when you first try and grind.

well, thats not necesarily true, but is if your just begginning. I learned on cement and woulkd totally flip forward like my bike was a catipult in my front peg landed on a ledge, but with practice i can double and ice pick cement, so he's right, feeble cement at first.. and dont worry about wax, just learn to grind first.. have fun./

Had a feeling it was something like that... What can I say; I'm an old fart who last rode a BMX (modded Stingray with nobbies) about 27 years ago. Still have one in the shed. We used to grind on frames with a die grinder so we could weld on gussets & braces...
Have fun grinding pegs or helmets... or whatever.
Happy Holidays to you all!
