Anyone know of a sus. fork w/ disk brake mounts for a 1"dia. (threaded I think) headset?
I love my steel frame Bridgestone mb, but I'm thinking about upgrading the wheels and also going to disk brakes. As I write this I'm also wondering about the added weight of disk brakes, since my bike is not light as is.

a good set of disc brakes is not that heavy. The weight penalties are well worth the stopping power

I saw one in my LBS that was used but in good shape for about 30 bucks if I recall. I could see about snagging it for you, since they seem pretty rare anymore.
Ive also had luck with upgrading the frame. I've taken the head tube and modified it to accept 1-1/8 which eliminates any future issues. The process only takes about 1/2 hour on a steel frame, aluminum is a little harder but I can do both and the frame looks and feels like it was built that way.
