Hi all,

I have a MJ-808E that gives me approx 3 hours of use on "Hi". I would like to add the Magicshine rear light to my setup but run it off the same battery as the front light. Im mainly interested in how long this setup would run with both front and rear lights "flashing". As the lighter evenings are here, I need the "Hi" setting less but need "flashing" more.
However, if anyone knows, I would also be interested in an approximation of front and rear running on "Hi" too.

Thanks so much.

I've measured several head lights and several tail lights - using "on" settings - but never in flasher mode. I do know one thing - if both lights happen to "flash" at nearly identical times - the battery would need to deliver 2 amps. (same as always on) Raw guess - would be about two hours constant in "high mode."

Even if you did use "flash" - at some point it would not be as bright as when used with full battery.....

Thanks - I ordered a rear MS light. I will report back the "flash" life of the battery when running the front and rear in flash mode off one battery.
