...although, the suzue NJS hubs are prolly just as nice as the DAs. the promax sealed bearing ones are absolute crap though.
ok, if i go with the DA high flange hubset- should i have them build it 36F/36R or should the front have less spokes? i need a wheel that is street tuff!

if you can get 36H high flange dura ace hubs, go for it. they'll probably cost more than the 32H hubs, because i think they have to be imported from japan. i get around fine on my 32h hubs. shimano doesn't actually make the high flange track hubs anymore, but a few places stsill have them. i think bike works does though...and they show up on ebay every once in a while. if you're going to spend that much money, and you absolutely need high flange hubs, i'd go with the suzue NJS or, the promax loose ball hubs as my second choice or third choice. if you want absolutely bombproof wheels, phil woods are gonna be your best bet, and they're not too much more expensive than the dura ace hubs. i have both and they've both served me well.
thanks! how do filwood hubs compare with DA in weight?

heavier. but worth it and not noticable.
