Hi Everyone:

I just got a set of Ergon GP1-L grips and I am wondering what angle you all have yours at. I think I like them tilted back just slightly, but help me out if this is not right.

Photos will help too if you have them.

I have Ergon grips on two of my bikes, a commuter and SS. Bike set up and everyone is different so my set up will be different than yours. Start off with the grip at the horizontal. Then adjust from there. Grip angle shouldn't be anything extreme. Between -15deg to 25deg is what Ergon suggests.

I just put mine at the position that felt comfortable when sitting on the seat. For me that's tilted slightly downward toward the floor in the back. Could be different for you. You can always adjust after your first ride and go from there until you find a sweet spot.

Have mine pointed a few degrees up.

I set them flat to the bend of the bar and rotate the bar if needed. Never installed them on risers.
