Hey Guys!
Dug this out of my girlfriends parents garage. Hoping to restore it, but just wondering if anyone knows what year it is off the top of their heads. I looked for a bit and couldn't find anything. Unfortunately, I couldn't find a serial number. It looks like mostly Suntour components and a decal says 20-30 High Carbon.

Thanks in advance!
Mid to late 1970's probably- possibly early '80's- Assembled Grand Prixs in '73 and '74- and this is definitely later than that- They had cottered cranks then, and no brake "safety levers" or reflectors then. Are the rims steel or alloy? A nice little mixte frame, with a nice crankset and it looks in good shape.

You can easily figure out the vintage of your bicycle by applying the information contained in How Old Is My Bike? (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/FREE_SITE_VINTAGE/VINTAGE_1_Start.htm) Pay closest attention to using the Component Numbers (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/FREE_SITE_VINTAGE/VINTAGE_5_Component_Numbers.htm) to help with this task and you will come pretty close to the exact year of manufacture...

It is late '70s, probably a 1977 model. Here is a catalog page for it from Retro Raleighs ... http://www.sheldonbrown.com/retroraleighs/grand-prix.html
Nice bike. Not high-end, but nice. A mixte frame version is a nice find.

Looks like it just needs a good cleaning and servicing and it'll be good to go.
Looks like 1977 is the winner. Thanks everyone.
Excited to start a new project for the summer. It needs new tires, a cleaning, and a real good tuning, but she should be back on the roads this summer!
