Figures. :(
I had no desire to do anything last weekend when the weather was nice. Now I want to head out this weekend and the weather may be in the toilet, so to speak). Bleh!

I did my first ice ride on a roadie (an old touring bike with new CX tires) and it was great! I really enjoyed it.

Not sure if it was so much fun because I was amazed that everything worked or if it's just because I've got cabin fever, but I'm trying to find another excuse to do it again.

Thats nice that you got out to ride. :)

I can't wait to get out for one. The gym is nice but its getting old. I remember last year I was riding at this time not just road but mountain bikes too. :)

Anyhoo, I'll be snowshoeing this weekend in Leadville. :D

I finally commuted yesterday on my touring bike. It is really not that bad. Messy as all heck but the streets are passable. Just avoid the trails. The Cherry Creek trail has large sections of compacted snow and ice. Not too bad if you slow down to around 8 mph and pay attention. Of course, this bike has 700X28s so that may have helped a bit. Residential roads are horrible but the larger non residential roads are fine. I usually take madison north from Iliff but it was a disaster area. Instead I took St Paul Vrain (whatever its name is) and was fine.
