I own a vintage Peugeot bicycle and I am making some upgrades.
The bicycle has french threaded headset and bottom bracket.
I want to replace them with new ones because they are a little rusty and I don't want to paint them.
The problem is that it is very difficult to find french threaded bicycle parts and also very expensive in comparison with the majority of the lately constructed parts.
I also don't want to make new threads on the frame in order to use an engilsh threaded b.b e.x.
Could I use threadless headset and bottom bracket on this frame, without touching it's french threading?
