Mountain Biking - Any shocks that still work with M style brakes?

I have a decent bike (Brodie Evolution) that still has the older M style brakes and I want to upgrade the crappy old Rock Shox Indy. Unfortunately, it seems all new shocks use the V style brakes. Is there anything left for me out there that will accept the M style or will I have to buy a new brake setup too?

Appreciate your help.

BTW - I'm 200lbs and live in the Salt Lake area and ride mostly cross-country.

thx...

Lets put this into perspective.

A lot of shocks don't even have mounts AT ALL for ANY rim brake. So I am not 100% sure of the real answer but you seem to be 2 steps back which may cause problems finding what you want.

No worries, there are still plenty that use v-brakes. Unfortunately, I have no idea what an "M-brake" is. Assuming you mean cantilevers, no they wont realy work on v-brake posts due to a lack of spring mounting hole (positions) for them.

v-brakes are realtively cheap these days thanks to the overflow of discs. just save a few bucks more and get some inexpensive v's. Even the cheapest v-brakes are noticably better than canti's
