Hello! I woke up this morning to a fresh coat of snow in New Jersey. I'm ashamed to say I didn't bike in. (But I didn't take the cage -- I used public transit). I've ridden in the snow in the past on my 'cross bike, but I can't take that on the train. I'm wondering how our folders handle in the snow. Anyone commute like that? What tires do you recommend?

I don't know... I have several thousand put into my folding bike, so I wouldn't be inclined to ride it in the snow. But if I had a walmart folder, I'd go for it. Just get the mountain bike tires and you'll be ready to go.

I'm looking forward to riding my folder in the snow, whenever it comes, and if it's sans ice. My bike is a 26"-wheel folding bike, so it's easy to get mountain bike tires.
