Professional Cycling For the Fans - Speaking of Spoliers (not in this thread)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Yesterday evening I was watching the Rugby 7s from japan on MSNBC (was vrs) and Universal sports. I think on both and I'm absolutely sure on one they had a tciker with various sports results.

Including the top 10 in the Tour of Flanders.

The good side is this means cycling is being thought of as worth reporting to teh world, the bad is now one cannot tape a race and be reasonable sure (if they stay away from here) of getting to watch the tape before knowing the result.

Do you actually "tape" the event or are you using the catchall term for DVR/Tivo/etc? Do people actually still "tape" things...like on a VCR? I usually say I "DVR'd" it.

Yes, I'm just give you a hard time...

I don't like American football... I'll occasionally watch my college team play if they're on TV but for the most part I just don't follow pro football at all. I used to see how long I could go without finding out who won the Superbowl - it was kind of fun. Once I went two weeks before I happened to see some kind of reference to the world champion whoevers.

It wasn't that hard, and when I did find out I blamed myself, but I didn't get upset about it.
