Here's the plan: drive from NYC to Nashville (16 hours). Stay in Franklin, TN for Thurs. Friday and Sat. night. Ride 40 mile (approx.) Leipers Loop on Friday. Saturday head down the Trace as far as we care to (60-80 miles?). Have a buddy pick up our van in Franklin and retreive us. Drive home Sunday. Tough driving days, but our chance to check out the Trace, see if we wanna come back for an extended stay next year.
