Tandem Cycling - Getting tandem bike to airport

I have a (non coupled) tandem bike that I need to get to the Atlanta airport. Any ideas on how to transport it (taxis/shuttle services with vans)?
Getting the bike on the plane is not a problem but I'm kinda worried on how to get it to the airport.
Any input would be appreciated.
Option 1: Cycle (might not be feasible)
Option 2: Order a taxicab via phone and ask for a minivan. Taking of the wheel(s), it should not be a problem to fit the tandem in any minivan. This seems the least hassle option.
Option 3: Take train to the airport (sorry I don't know if there is a train connection to the Atlanta airport).

Check MARTA and if permitted, take the train.

Yeah, I was thinking MARTA but I'm not sure whether the bike actually fits on the train. Bikes are allowed any time but I'd more or less be blocking the doors. Hm.

Just how are you planning on flying with the bike? You'll need a bike case. Package it up in the case. Call a cab company with a van, and you're good. Pretty sure you can get the airline case on Marta as well.

Hey, this post made me think that people should post their vacations. For example, if someone was visiting near Pittsburgh, they'd be welcome to borrow some single bikes of ours.
