Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. So, my company just sent me to Asia for 2 weeks. A great trip in terms of experience and sightseeing, and the business part went pretty well too. The only downside was that I knew I wouldn't get in any cycling while I was there.
"Oh well," I told myself. "At least it's the last 2 weeks of March, when the weather probably wouldn't allow me to get in too many miles at home either."
Got back on the weekend to learn it's been beautifully sunny and warm the whole time I was gone. Perfect cycling weather.
It's snowing today.
:bang: Don't you just hate it when that happens.

I thought orientals loved bikes. Didn't they invent bikes?

I must amuse the same gods. A couple years after I moved to the notoriously rainy Pacific Northwest, I needed to spend a winter back in NorCal. During those three months, NorCal was deluged in rain while the Willamette Valley was having one of its worst drought years in history. Lucky for me, it didn't keep me from riding, but I did/do get tired of cleaning the crud out of the drive train.

I had hoped to take advantage of the 20" of new snow at Taos Ski Valley, and I have a miserable cold.

I'm in Colorado and think I might be the only resident who doesn't ski. :) Don't own a Pugsley and as it put down about a foot of snow yesterday, that's beyond my MTB-with-knobbie-tires skillz. I did the trainer thing instead, but it's not the same.
However, being Colorado, it's sunny and warm today. And the snow's almost gone.
