Mines a ****!ng beast at 47 pounds. I'm not sure how it weighs that much though. The only real heavy things on my bike are my chain, and possibly my rims. Nothing else seems to be overweight for what part they are.

Care to list the parts on that bike? I think that your scale is broken, because even with an 8.25lb frame and some of the heaviest parts available, my Warpig never weighed quite that much.
My F3 Haro weighs about 32 pounds.

You were right Beerman, I used my neighbors scale and it only came out to 35.6 pounds.

What weighs so much on all your guys bikes? I know people who have mountain bikes that weigh sub-30 pounds. Mine probably only weighs about 35 with everything.

I think the frame and fork are much heavier becouse it's specificly made for jumping/stunts. My MTB weighs about 33 pounds (Fully loaded) and it's an 28"er so the frame's pretty big too.

i don't understand that question. you are asking what weighs so much on our bikes, yet your bike seems to be heavier than most of ours

I (bruiser 2) have a 26 inch freeride mountain bike with 2.5 inch tires.

Also a suspension fork and gears and etc.
BMX bikes tend to be heavier for what they are, because the parts for freestyle bikes aren't generally made to save weight.
Racing BMX bikes can get under 20 lb, which is almost as light as road bikes though.

Yeah, what exactly is your question bruiser2? Your not being very specific. Oh, I have a question, is it possible for a bmx bike (freestyle) to weigh 45 pounds? Because my friend weighed his bike and he said it weighed 45 pounds, and I told him his scale must be broken because I thought that that would be way to heavy.
yeah it's totally possible. in the 90's everyone who was serious about riding street had to have owned a 40+ lb bike. think about everything back then. .049 tubing frames, .075 4pc handlebars, forks with peg bosses, 48h triple wall wheels with 14mm axles, front and rear, thick ass pegs, gyro, 44t chainring and a big fat kink chain, there is your heavy ass bike. we didn't care about weight until very recently.
my alliance is about 27 lbs.

Yes, but his bike is a 04' trek vert 2, and it has two peice bars, double wall rims and average size pegs, and same for the chain. So the only thing that would be heaveir on his that mine would be the frame. So that is why I thought that his scale must be broken, but I still could be wrong.
