Hi all, just found this forum and like most new forum members I am seeking some help. My uncle died last year and for the last 2 week-ends I have been helping clean out his housem shop and barn. He tinkered with bikes, would fix them and then give thme to kids in is little town. I found all 4 of these in his barn. I'm a military collector and know nothing at all about bikes. I knocked the dust off of the white one, but the other 3 are just like I found them. I hoping to find out, what kind they are, roughly what year they were made and any value they may have? Also, what would I need to do to clean and restore them the proper way, I know it makes a difference with militaria and I am guessing it holds true with bicycles too? Thanks in advance for any help.

This is the only one that I could find any details on. Says "Huffy 3 speed Catalina"

I wonder if it came like that or somebody painted it?
There is nothing left on the headbadge on the white bike?

Don't mean to be ignorant, but I am guessing by "headbadge", you are refering to the little oval plate below the handlebars? If so, you are correct, there is nothing on it.

That blue bike is a Murray Spaceliner. It's really the only thing there that's of some worth, except somebody has apparently painted it blue. If it is spray paint it may come off with brake parts cleaner though.
To be honest none of those bikes is worth particularly much as is. The first bicycle is an old AMF (or possibly a late cleveland welding bike before they were rolled into AMF) and seems to be in the best shape - the star chainwheel is pretty sought after, but as a step through frame bike it's probably not worth all that much.
The red bike is a murray. Cantilever frames are always worth something to somebody. Depending on how desperate they are $25-$50 tops.
The blue bike is a murray - I'm sure somebody would be pretty happy with it though, but it's hard to say really. I've seen people pay around $60-$100 just for the frame, but in "all blue" condition you might be lucky to get $100 for the whole shebang. It is also missing the front fender. But it does have the rare and highly sought after crank "hub cap" -but it's just a shame it's painted blue.
The Huffy catalina is missing the rear brake and the 3 speed shifter. It's worth essentially nothing as is. You could part it out but even so you'd only have a few dollars worth of parts.

I came across a Huffy exactly like that once. Shimano 3-speed hub, but as Mos pointed out you're missing the shifter.
Complete, I could not give the thing away. Ended up donating it.

Thanks for the help. Even if I just pass them on to someone else, at least I know more now, than when I started.
