I am considering putting these Profile Design Aero Bars on my road bike. My thinking is it will give me another riding position. Anyone out there have any thoughts or experience with them. Thanks!

Another position, but not a very comfortable one. You will be more aero though, good for headwinds.

I have Split Seconds (fold up arm pads) on my Surly LHT. I spend more time on them than on the tops. LOVE them for long rides. I even added a rear brake lever so I could scrub speed while on the aeros. Also really nice in headwinds (that's why I got them).

My wife has them on her bike. Whenever she uses them, she drops me like a I have lead in my tires.
