I have been nominated for "Most Grouchy" award, but am getting beat by a cad known as Karstens!

Please give me your vote! Don't let them beat me out! 50+ers need representation in the awards.

Don't do this to me, Denver. I consider both you and William to be valued friends.

Denver,

I just voted for you. Any man who's come through life having to endure what you've had to is entitled to be a bit grouchy, now and then. I probably pissed Koffee off with my comments but sod it, I'm 50+ and she ain't.

You are the number one old fart. Hope you win!

:D

Denver,

I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek in my previous reply but I agree with where you are coming from. A while back we had a class-A wank*er by the name of KleinMp99 who used to really piss people but being a 16 yr old acne-ridden kid with wildly fluctuating hormones (?) he could hide anonymously in the fibers of the internet safe in his refuge. I had a run in with him once until I realised he was not worth the spit. You on the other hand put a lot of work into this forum. I'm not as active in the forum as I used to be, but we appreciate your efforts in getting it motivated. I suppose it was a hard call for the mods who might have opposed it and among some members as well, but I think they've all come to realise that we are not elderly old mother-you-know-whats but our experiences will one day become theirs.

I've learned a lot and I'm partly in denial to some extent. I'm supposedly meant to be in my armchair doing crosswords but following my minor heart attack in August (yes! there were some young guys who shared the ward with me who were in a worse state than me) I resolved to listen to those who know best and I'm better for it. I'm not sure why I'm mentioning this. Maybe a 'senior moment'. :D

I can't get access to that thread anymore. I guess it was zapped by the mods?

Too many people* whining about awards they saw as less than positive. Nevermind the fact that the whole thing was as always all in jest. You remember humor don't you? <rib poke>

I'll leave lest I be censured for being too young or some such rubbish.

*means more than one don't get your knickers in a bunch
