my bf works at daredevil at 178 ludlow (www.daredeviltattoo.com), james o'brien. but you can consult with any of them there, they're awesome ppl.

i'm not in NYC, so don't take my word for it, but i like the stuff i've seen coming outta New York Adorned (http://www.newyorkadorned.com/home/index.html). Check them out maybe.

Myles Karr. I have no idea at which shoppe he works, but I'll find out. He's tattooed like 2/3rds of the members Punk/Hardcore bands in the New York area.

triple x tattoo and rising dragon are 2 of the tops in the city. they both have excellent web sites. also ny hardcore. good luck.
