Hope some one here can help me identify a bicycle I have (model and Year if possible)

I have a 3speed bicycle circa 1940s I think. It used to be my grandfather's. Paint was stripped but I was told it was black. It has a 3 speed hub ( B type 4) has a frame number under the seat on the collar like clamp which says "H149529" has pump holders on the vertical bar(under the seat). From a poster I found I think it's the "Popular" model. Any other ideas or anyone can confirm this please? Also which emblem was used on the front as it is missing but it has two holes for mounting on each side.

Does the hub have a date on it? Or Patent number?

Does the hub have a date on it? Or Patent number?

I checked out both hubs but there aren't any the rear hub is a hercules 3 speed B-type-4 without any date or patent and the front is a Phillips (made in England) both rims are Dunlop Made in England I think they are the original ones that came with the bike.

The following is a poster I found and that I could compare to the bike:

I don't know the date but they are similar. also couldn't know which badge was used
