Any films by Spanish film director Pedro Almodóvar especially Todo sobre mi madre and La mala educación.

and Luis Buñuel famous for his historical, documentary style of the area known as Las Hurdes. I cycled through this area (Western Salamanca) on my year tour of Spain in 2000 - very beautiful and undiscovered. Many ancient villages with timbered buildings.
