You're referring to paraskevidekatriaphobia, right? The ride has to be a multiple of 13 (miles, minutes, pieces of pie, whatever).

And I thought it was just triskadecaphobia (fear of 13). And you need something longer than a mile to make the ride long enough to be worthwhile. How about 13 leagues? A league is roughly 3 miles, so 13 leagues would be about 39 miles, or 62 km. (So when Captain Nemo did his 20,000 leagues under the sea, he covered 60,000 miles (96,000 km), or almost two and a half times around the circumference of the earth!)
