Hi all!!
I was looking for a stem and set of road bars to install to my Crossroads. It has a quill stem, and I was wondering if anyone makes a quill to threadless adapter stem such that I can use the threadless stems and make it easier to swap bars while I figure out which bars to use permanently.

Yes they do make these they can be found on Ebay for different size quills and threadless stems for about $20.

Thanks so much! I was looking on Ebay under quill, stem and handlebars. Didn't see those at all. Exactly what I need!

I've got one of these; I love it. Very nicely made.

So if you want a black one, give it a look.

Lots of sources for these:
Here's Nashbar's version: http://www.nashbar.com/bikes/Product_10053_10052_175545_-1___202442
A whole page of possibilities from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_1?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=threadless+stem+adapter
i have the Nashbar adapter on one bike and it works just fine.

And the distributors that supply any bike shop can provide one,
from several sources. ask at your favorite LBS.

I bought a long one I found on Ebay. I realised I need a long one for my cross bike. Now for that front brake cable hanger...
