Manufacturer, Retailer, Survey and Consumer Feedback - bikesomewhere.com ... terrible online store!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

anyone else have trouble with bikesomewhere.com?

i ordered a stem from them and it was the wrong size so i returned it for a new size. three weeks later nothing. i called customer service... no humans and just a message machine....! WOW. next, i sent emails, waited weeks for a reply and they gave me a runaround about not sending it back... but i had a tracking number and states it was received! still waiting on an email for a refund now and its been over 2 months.

i'm out 130 bucks and no stem! i don't expect them to even refund my credit card at this rate. i hope no one else has had a bad experience but at this point, if no one is there to answer your call, thats a really bad sign!

i'd stay far away from bikesomewhere.com

My one and only experience with them was purchasing two "new" roof racks via their Amazon store.

The racks arrived. Very, very clearly used. Neither one had enough parts to actually be usable. Scrapes indicated that they had been mounted and had long hard use. Plus, a bag of threaded headset locknuts (?!) that I never ordered.

I tried to contact them, as per the Amazon agreement. No idea after a week. So I complained to Amazon.

Amazon refunded my money immediately and told me to keep the racks and bonus parts. Between the two racks I was able to get one usable one.

If it's been two months, do a chargeback on your card.
