I race for a team in which a local shop is sponsor so I get a great deal on ordering SRAM. Well I have a quarq coming and Quarq says I have a BB86. I just noticed that there is a small toothpick size piece of metal barely pointing out of the non drivetrain side of the BB. It moves with the crank and all looks like no imminent danger. I was thinking since I was putting the Quarq on I would just Go ahead and replace the BB since the existing BB has about 10k miles on it. My shop is not a Giant shop but orders direct through SRAM or BTI. Which bottom bracket do I need to order. Is it a a GXP Pressfit BB 86? I only see The following under GXP BB Pressfit
