Foo - we need to help.

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

no offense, but i come here to talk about bikes... i talk, think, read and ride to forget the real world. I have enough reality, thanks. So, good intentions aside, I hope a mod moves this.

No offense but 70,000 plus innocent people just died, and millions more are starving and homeless, hows that for some reality. So as important as bikes are, neither they nor your wish to forget about the real world are as important as helping people in need. The least you could do is support this thread or not say anything at all.

I thought the "the Lounge" section was for non-bike related discussions? Why do people who aren't interested in non-bike discussions intentionally read non-bike discussion threads and then post in non-bike discussion threads? I don't get it. If there was ever a non-bike discussion to be had right now, this is it.

I donated to the Canadian Red Cross (http://redcross.ca/) today (link provided for Canadian posters). I hope everyone here is doing the same and donating to an appropriate relief organization.

It was in the road cycling section, and I moved it to the lounge.
