George doesn't come up with the sounds. The foly (sp) edotors do.

I remember seeing a special and the guy talked about some of the sounds he used. The sound of the speeders from the third movies he got from a broken jackhammer when they were working in front of his house.

I always thought I wanted to do that job, never persued it though. Kinda glad now because i know what kind of time it would require and i like time with my kids.
