Hello BikeForum'ers,

I've recently bought a new (vintage) frameset from the local bike shop and I have no clue as to what brand or model it is, so I'm crowdsourcing for any information about what make or model it could possibly be.

I'm not much of a bicycle connoisseur, but just from looking at all the parts alone, this is all the information I could gather on my own.

- The frame is 54cm with the number "54" stamped on the underside of the bottom bracket (any correlation?).
- The seat tube has the numbers "5507" stamped on the left side.
- The frame came with a Shimano BB-UN54 sealed cartridge bottom bracket.
- It has Suntour GS rear dropouts with holes for a Portacatena chain hanger (I assume).

Other than that, I haven't gathered anything else, but hopefully these pictures will help.

Do you have a photo of the rear dropouts? Can you tell what make they are? Those are cool lugs, but I don't see too many clues to origin.

+ This appears to be a great frame likely 60's or 70's Nervex we need to see the rear dropouts and the underside of the BB to get a better read on what it is.

As requested. Here's some pictures of the bottom bracket and rear dropouts.

IMHO, the BB is probably a newer replacement. Suntour dropouts, probably a pretty nice frame.

It's good to hear that I didn't buy a crap frame at least, but would anyone care to guesstimate it's value? I paid $160 for both the frame and fork.

fork doesn't look original.
