Person wants 300$ for it. Blue/white. Looks clean from pics.
Haven't seen in person yet, but new (Nitto?) handlebar. 700c wheels. SR crank. Shimano brakes and derailleurs.
Whadduya think? Should I go for it?

Hard to tell w/o a pic, but priced 30 to 50% over what you should pay.

With out pics hard to tell but I sold similar bikes for around $150 ready to ride rebuilt within the past year and felt good about the price. Also pics help a lot.
Does it look like this? I sold a pair of these, a 53 and 57cm that I picked up from a couple that had bought them and never ridden. They were like new and sold for $225 each. A decent bike but for $300- NO.

I think I paid $249 for one in 1984.

The Olympic with 700C wheel was the beginning of the mid level bikes from Nishiki. It has generic double butted chromoly steel and lower level downtube shifters/derailers. They're nice bikes but not exceptional. For $100, buy it, for $200 consider it, for $300 keep looking.
