Put the front tire on the rear and put the new one on the front.
I decided to try out the Specialized Turbo Elite. I had Michelin Pro Race 3 before(well and still do...on the rear now).

You certainly got your money's worth out of that one! I'm known for squeezing every last mile out of tire, but even I don't let them get that worn.

Amazing.
When we were kids we'd be tatooing the pavement with skids trying to bald the rear tire. We seemed to think that making the rear tire look like a racing slick would make us faster.
