training after kidney infection...

i have an appointment with a specialist on the 4th, but I'd figure I'd ask around here as well...

few days ago, diagnosed with a kidney infection. on a 4-6 week course of heavy duty antiobiotics. Aside from the enormous volume of liquids Im consuming, and my need to urinate frequently, can I take some easy rides around the city? I've been off the bike for a few weeks, and I just want to get on it..not necessarily train, just ride..

Apparently, kidney infections in men need to be addressed rather seriously, as it is usually caused by something a bit more serious...
