Ok... sooo here's my bike... do I need a half link chain??

If I add a link and remove the dropout setter completely the chain is still loose...

What would you recommend?? I'm ordering one off ebay...

also are those track nuts on enough?? it's a 120 wheel in a 126 frame with two 3mm spacers...

Looks fine to me. Even if not, you don't need a half link chain; you can just buy an individual half link and add it to your chain.

Edit: Thank you for spacing your wheel appropriately rather than shoving it in there and cranking it down with the wrong spacing. Also, it might be good to lower your saddle a bit and level it out. iknowyoudidntask

Looks like it's making enough contact to me. Remember that the chain will "elongate" a little over time as well.

Plug your bar ends before you fall and gouge yourself.

Thanks! Can I mix / match any old 1/8 half link with this SRAM chain??

(bar tape just came in the mail...)

Leave the chain alone. It will stretch.

Nice bike. Whats up with all of the whacked out saddle angles here?

sounds good, thanks!

I haven't adjusted the seat yet because I still have to set it for length in the sliders... it's actually loose right now...

I just got some brown leather bar tape so once that goes on I will test it out, and then adjust / level out the saddle...

I'd be more worried about not having a knurled washer on the inside of the drop out or not having enough axel threaded into the track bolt

Your chain is fine, but good god man, lower your saddle a bit and level it off.

Thanks, I just took the wheel in and I'm having a longer axle installed... (the spacer will be placed on the inside of that knurled washer where it is supped to be...)

Level off, yeah. to my eyes, it could just be the height of the brooks saddle that is on there that is throwing things awry.
