I got this "Frank Shaw" frame in an auction recently. It came with.. Campagnolo Seat Post, Cinelli 64-42 Bars, Shimano 600 Groupset, Suntour VX Derailleurs, Suntour 10 Speed Gears, Sunshine Quick Release Skewers, Italia T.I Saddle, Wolber Mixte B Super Champion Rims, Weinmann 750 centre-pull Brakes.

But I have no idea who made the frame and when! Frank Shaw seems to throw up no real answers after 15 pages of google and I'm at my wits end.

The serial number on the BB reads 7GU177T1 (The 1's could be I's)
Some photo's here.. http://www.flickr.com/photos/70218128@N08/

Any help would make my day.

Thanks,
Chris.

In part:

I challenge you to find any information online or otherwise about the manufacturer of this bike. All I know is his name was Frank Shaw and he hand built bikes in Camberley (UK I assume).... Just by the way, we know it's such a great quality bike for a few reasons: it's as light as a fart; it has vintage Italian Cinelli and Campagnolo components; and the big Yorkshireman who sold it to us said so.

So maybe post your a question in a UK bike forum, if nothing else pops up. :)
