Foo - BMW Roadbike HOLY COMPONANTS!

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
I work at a BMW Car Dealership and we have these road bikes here. Aluminum frame and yadda yadda. Originally $4000.00 they have DROPPED them to around 2 grand. They crazy thing is that these bikes have full Dura Ace componants and nice Dura Ace SPD Pedals. Profile(?) fork Ksyrium SL wheels (the black ones) with Conti tires. A Sentac (?) stem. I don't have the bike in front of me; I have talked to a sister dealer down the street, the parts manager down there is one of my riding buddies (avid roadie type) and he alerted me to this beast. If anyone in Houston want one I can probably swing $1750. I'd rather see a real cyclist get ahold of one of these deals as opposed to a wanna be Bimmer driving ******. (Not saying all BMW drivers are fat asses ;) ) I could see this bike being bought and sitting in a garage gathering dust. :( It saddens me. If there is any interest contact me 936.271.3054 and either leave a message or by the grace of God I might pick up. :) I wish I could afford one! Very limited supply. Email me too! phiber@ephektz.com

Last Bimmer I saw with a road bike on it was a Seven and the guy was a bike guru...it was bringing it in to have it tuned up :D
A 7 Series or a Seven road bike? ;) I'd have to say I've never seen a 7 Series with a roof rack or a bicycle of any sorts.

even better! Just let me know of the obivious "non-cyclists" *koff koff* that bought a car with one of these on top in the last few months. I'd love to swing by their house and offer them $250 for "that dusty old bike in the garage" >:D

Phiber,
Are they 10 speed Dura Ace, with the new cranks?
I'm on it. I'll find out in a few minutes. :)
