ok so I picked up the frame and fork last night, I have a shimano ultegra bb, a black 105 crankset, black 105 brakes, nashbar tt-bars with levers and all that jazz. Seat post and saddle are all taken care of. What I need are wheels and and chainring. I'm thinking of surlly hubs laced to mavic deep v's or ma3's (opinions on those?) I'm also going to need a track chainring that fits the 105's and hopefully is black. Anyone have a good recomendation for the chainring?

If you're using 3/32 chain/cog/chainring, get a salsa ring. They're really good for the $$, and come in black. They last a long time, and are pretty cheap.

I like the ma3's - my brother has a set laced to Phils that seem bomb proof. I've also had good luck with the surly hubs. Just make sure to replace the outer cone locknuts and get a fix/fix, not a flip/flop.

Never used the deep v's but I do use the MA3's and they're rock solid.

MA3 are good city rims. Good choice.

The Rocket Ring comes as a black with silver teeth.
