We bought this a few days ago for my wife.

It's a Bianchi, but I'm not sure which model. It's probably from the 1970s, as it has the 'Campione del Mondo 1973-1974' sticker and a Sturmey Archer S3C hub. The hub only functions as a coaster break (don't worry, we're aware of its faults :)) - no shifter cables, so the bike is single speed. Aside from this obviously later modification, the handbrake, pedals and tires are new as well.
The paint, unfortunately, is sprayed. You can see traces of the original paint near the logo and the headbadge (celeste? hard to tell). I'm not able to post better close-up pics at the moment, but the paint job isn't very good and we're considering sending it to sand blasting and a repaint. Various components have rust, and we're cleaning that up as well.
Anyhow, can anyone give me any info on this bike? I've searched the net quite heavily and only found this (http://thearterie.blogspot.com/2011/05/18-mon-nouveau-velo-vintage.html), which appears to be very similar. I admit, I'm less interested in its value; we paid little for it and it rides great for our needs. I'm more intrigued by what this is... Any help will be appreciated!
(Originally posted a little differently in the main C&V forum; apparently it wasn't the appropriate place :))
