Hello all
Anyone know anything about the Five Flags Motor Bike Kits? I am looking at the 600 watt kit for 24" wheel.I am planing on putting it on a trail bike.

You probably want to stay away from SLA batteries. Check out ebike.ca, talk to one of their sales representatives and have them put a kit together for you. Get a LiFePO4 battery from pingbattery.com that will last you three to four times longer than an SLA battery. Remember you get what you pay for. Goldenmotor.ca also has their Magic Pie 3 hub motor which you should check out.

What kind of trail bike are you planning on putting the kit on? Make and model? Does your trail bike meet the minimum requirements for an ebike kit? What will be the main use of your ebike? Commuting, etc? Will your brakes work with the ebike kit? How far do you want to travel before you have to recharge the battery/batteries?

Check out Greg Davey's website and his 50+ mph ebike (http://www.fastelectricbike.com/book.html). Read Greg's first free 20 pages of his book. You may not want/need to go 50+ mph but if your bike is built that strong then you know it can handle the lower speeds you do intend to go at.

My bike is a Kent International ozone trail,it's 24" wheels it's got 4" wide forks so the motor will fit.I just wanted to know if the bike kit company was reputable or not.I got it to replace a e-zip that was too tall and heavy for for me.I mainly use the bike at a local flea market to ride up and down the hills there.Here at home I only ride over to my barn thats only a few blocks away.
At the flea market I needed a bike that I could have my feet on the ground most of the time on the e-zip I had to tip toe,very uncomfortable.
I live on the side of a mountian and rideing a bike up and it would be next to impossible.
I will have to go with the sla battery because of lack of funds for now,maybe next year.
I liked the 50 mph bike.And thanks for the reply!
