Thoughts, comments on this bag (http://www.etsy.com/listing/94220473/roll-top-backpack-commuter-black-cordura?ref=sr_gallery_8&ga_search_query=commuter+backpack&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_ship_to=ZZ&ga_min=0&ga_max=0&ga_search_type=all)?

Been looking for a while for a good commuting backpack. Most of the ones I've come across I don't like, or plain ugly. This has what I like, good pockets, bottle/ulock holders on both sides, mesh straps, black, military grade. It's pretty large too, which I like.
Hefty price tag though, $250.

Looks pretty, would rather go with anything other than a backpack tho... Sweaty backs suck.

I don't want panniers, at least for this bike. Messenger one straps suck, imo.

If that's the only bag you have come across that you like why wouldn't you buy it?

Even though he's been looking for "a while," he's wondering if anyone is familiar with bags of something similar (and preferably a lower price) before making the purchase. If he doesn't discover a contender within 5 days, he'll make the purchase.

For that price, but from a company like Mission Workshop. You'll want a warranty/professional customer support if something brakes.

I think if you want to sell your bags, you should buy a membership.

I second the other guy that said, "If that's the only bag you have come across that you like why wouldn't you buy it?"
Looks like a nice bag- handmade in DTLA and I'm sure they would support any problems.
Since you've looked for awhile, I won't name the usual ones.
ILE (InsideLine Equipment) might be one you missed, they are good.
T-Level is great, they have a mesh floating backrest so air vents between your back and the bag.

Off topic, but did you get your bike back? how'd that turn out?

Not yet, they haven't had time to get it to the shop. I posted in the regional forum northeast. Thanks!

That's a pretty hefty price tag, but hey if you can afford it and really like it. I'm just jealous cause it's over half the price of my bike itself.
