This my budget KHS Flite build. I used parts I had in the secret stash, but still got nickeled and dimed at the end.
KHS Flite 100 frameset, size 55. Amazon Green paint, paintjob is incredible- decals underneath the clear.
Seat- Selle Italia Max Flite, old saddle I had in my stash.
Seatpost- Kalloy Uno, perhaps the best "cheap" setpost out there.
Wheels- Formula hubs and Alex rims, stuff I had in the wheel pile already.
Cranks/BB- Miche track cranks and BB, 48 tooth with 167.5 arms. Found in my track bike stash.
Chain- KMC something or other, found in my stash.
Pedals- Shimano XTR, found in my stash.
Stem- ITM 110mm, found in my stash.
Bars- Bontrager shallow drop 42cm wide, had to purchase.
Brakes- Campagnolo C-Record levers, and Delta brake, found in my stash bins.
Gearing right now is 48-18.
Weight- 16.9 pounds.
This bike rides incredibly well, I still can't get over the frame quality for the price.

Despite how much I think you suck based on your other posts...
That bike is awesome. And so is the delta brake. Awesome machine.

I still can't get over how well this worked out for you. Personal parts bin bike, on a very nice well priced frame. How much did you pay for it?
The delta brake looks great in contrast to that green frame. Great wheel build too. Hoods so you can climb some hills... a perfect trainer / commuter.
I'd ride it. A 55 cm would fit me too...

How on Earth can anyone pretend that riding a fixed gear is cool?.

Don't mind him, he's written off racism and a smug attitude about riding bikes as "being drunk."
Didn't that bull**** excuse go out of fashion in the 80s?
Regardless, nice bike - now sell it to someone worthy.

Frame was $180 shipped. Bars/tape $55.00 and I had to get a good headset ($65.00). I went with an FSA Orbit X. Nothing worse than a cheap headset, and the headset that came with the frame was nothing to write home about.
Rode it 1:20 yesterday for a shakedown, and just got off a 2+ hour run. No wonder people love their KHS and Kilo frames. What a deal.:)

Yup.
If I had to take a guess, I'd say more around 21-23lbs.

Wow, very nice build. quite light weight too. What is the frame's weight and what are the tubes made of?
Thanks

Not exactly sure on the weight, I used a bathroom scale! The frame was very light, the forks were the heaviest feeling component. It rides super slick though, and is amazingly stable feeling. many miles on Fiji backroads at night, it tracks nice when you are drunk!

Nice stash and old parts bin you have! The Delta brake and crankset are really nice.
SB ballers always have to show off ;)
For all the people getting aroused by the brake: it looks completely silly on that bike and has no place there.
These pics should have been posted in the "Delta brakes thread," and is further evidence that that thread should be stickied.
