I picked up a '87 Circuit today at our city's annual bike swap. Over the years I'd always assumed that the Tenax (or in this bike's case SL/SP) frames were made by one of Schwinn's overseas suppliers, but I heard a couple of people say there were some made in MS. Does anyone know one way or the other?

I believe that only Letours were made in Greenville, but I could be wrong.

I'm going to bump this with more conjecture. :)

I always heard they were made by Panasonic?

I can check the headbadge of my '87 Super Sport if there are any clues there.

Both. Some were made in Japan. Some were made in Greenville. Peloton was made in Japan. Circuit was made in Greenville. That's all I got.
