I hate paying around $7 a tube at the lbs - I see Nashbar has them for under $4. Is there a difference, or do you'all buy them at places like Nashbar and Performance, and the tubes last just fine, compared to lbs tubes?

Where do you purchase YOUR tubes? (700 x 28C)

Any any of the 4 LBS I can get tubes for under $4. Personally I can't tell the difference in tubes. They all flat.

7 on a tube :eek: wow your getting ripped. Ive never payed over 4 and i have no issue with them. Theres only so much you can do with a tube

I've never noticed any difference between a tube from nashbar, LBS, or walmart.

The tubes my LBS sells for $5 each can be had at JensonUSA for $2 each, or 10 for $17. Just gotta wait to piggyback them onto a larger order to knock down the shipping.

US$ 7 at your LBS is a ripoff. US$ 5 is what I pay for either a road or MTB tube. I'd start buying from a catalouge or website.

I pay 2.50 for a long stemed 700cc 23 tube...

I go through so many that I need to get them cheep and patch them

BTW my LBS charges 5 for a normal tube, 7 for a heavy duty version.

$4-$6 at LBS, $1-$2 at the annual swap meet in Seattle.

Haven't heard a date yet for 05 but it's usually end of February or sometime in March.
