Thinking about pulling the trigger on a local bike sale: Nice Fuso with Shimano 105 7 speed...GREAT CONDITION-Owner is looking for 900.00 based on Ebay sales BUT that was a Campy Record bike....anyway opinions here please. I offered $650. I think this one is the 1st generation as it has a headbadge...Seriel # indicates it was built in 1986...one year shy of the anniversary frames...

A Fuso is a very nice bike and don't come along often. I would think the frame would be in the $400-450 range if in good shape. The 105 parts add a little but certainly not getting it to $900. I think $650 is maybe a bit high but certainly reasonable. What color and size is it ??

I agree with Parawk...the 105 parts are not doing it any favors. In my experience, high level frames with lower end parts typically sell for what the frame would sell for alone (sometimes less as people see it as added work to remove cheap parts and extra shipping costs). I think $650 is a VERY generous offer...and about $200 over what I'd consider its standard value.
