That seems like an incredibly good deal if it's for real. (but I'm not an expert)

I second inkandsilver...that's a steal (I paid a lot more for my wife's Zurich). I'm biased...I'm a fan of Lemonds. I like the geometry, I like the TT length, I like how they ride and I like 853 (except it dents if you look at it wrong). I'd say those sell pretty easily for $500 in decent condition and you get a lot of bang for the buck. Don't wait for more responses lest you lose out...get in the car now.

Alex wheelset doesn't belong on that bike IMO, but those are easily replaced. Still a great deal at $300, go get it now before someone else does and jacks the price up.

Fits nice, a little bit of surface rust, and some paint peeling.
Might need to work on the bottom bracket, feel a little grinding.
But great overall, once I find some oxalic acid somewhere (my friend has citric acid in his dad's garage?) and get most of the rust off, it'l be good!

Good job Jazz - enjoy her! For $300, you really can't get worked up over some surface patina and BB work. You got that for around half of market value for one in good shape.

One piece of advice...be careful handling it. 853 is paper thin and gets dings easily. Lean it carefully, don't lean it against things.
