Looks like Chiorda. Sheldon was not impressed.

Looks clean but I think 100 is a bit much

It looks like one of those Sears "made in Austria" bikes. Decent quality, low-end design.

Yep, bike boom era POS, avoid it.

It's a $10-$20 bike. Sure for hell isn't a $100 bike. I love bike boom POS survivors. I'm not stupidly in love with them.

there is nothign really wrong with that bike, its just there is nothing very special about it, it is a low end bike but in great shape.

I would not give 100 but it would be nice to find a good home for it.

The bike is a late sixties or, more likely early to mid seventies issue Chiorda. The one presented must be the entry level model since it has little, and perhaps no chrome plating on the frame and fork. The Chiordas I have run across all had chrome stays, fork blades and head tube lugs.

I find the Chiorda to offer an acceptable ride quality but the bicycle is not as lively as some others in its class, the Peugeot UO8 (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/Feature_Bicycles/Feature_Bicycles_France/Peugeot_UO8%20_BlueDump/PEUGEOT_UO8_DUMP_1_Start.htm) or the Torpado LUXE (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/Feature_Bicycles/Feature_Bicycles_Itlay/Torpado_Yellow/TORPADO_LUXE_YELLOW_1_Start.htm) being a couple of direct competitors to the Chiorda.

I have owned a couple of their entry level issues, but only Step Through models, such as this clean old Italian curved top tubes Mixte (http://www.mytenspeeds.com/My_TenSpeeds_1/Feature_Bicycles/Custom_Built_Bicycles/CHIORDA_EVIE/Chiorda_Evie_1_Start.htm) I built up a summer or two ago...
