Hey guys,
Just thought I'd check in and let you all know that tomorrow will be the beginning of my first tour down the Pacific Coast from Seattle, WA to the border of Mexico.
I'm psyched about the ride and I'm really appreciative of all the information found on these forums. Thanks again! If you're interested in following along, I'll be updating both my Facebook Fan Page as well as my blog as much as I can along the way.

Thanks a lot guys! Well today was our first official day on the bikes. It was a first of many things actually. Our first ever tour, our first day of riding, Will took his first crash (he's okay) although his shoulder is a little tweaked. We rode from Bremerton, WA to our first ever WarmShowers host here in Shelton, WA (approx 45-50 miles). If you're ever coming through Shelton, be sure to look up a guy named Alan out here. Great guy, beautiful home, hot tub/jacuzzi, the whole works!
Overall, I'd say we had a great first day (minus the crash) and a few minor issues along the way. The weather was cooler in the morning but the sun is still shining as we speak. We couldn't ask for better weather out here in Washington this time of year, that's for sure. I was surprised at the mileage we put in for our first day considering we didn't train for the tour. Our legs are really feeling it but we're hoping the hot tub will take care of that a little later on.
Anyways, thanks for all of the support. Follow along with us on PauseTheMoment.com!
