Hey guys, ran into a speed bump here I need a replacement pulley for an old 3 speed schwinn, but I need the kind for the actual top tube frame mount, not a clamp. Is there a magical phrase I should be using for my searches? All I can turn up are the clamp pulleys.

Do you have a picture of what you're talking about? I'm having a hard time picturing it... Are you just looking for the little wheel or the entire clamp/wheel assembly?

Turned out I had the part, was a funny shaped screw for mounting the pulley itself onto.

If you mean the wheel that screws directly into a braze-on, they are the same as the clamp type. You just remove the clamp and bolt the wheel on. I only know that because I faced the same problem once :)
