Folding Bikes - Repair Bromptom front hub

Hi
The bearings on the front wheel of my brompton are starting to make alarming grinding noises and the wheel doesn't spin round as well as it used to.
I tried to find the specs of the front hub but it doesn't seem to be on the brompton website.
Does anyone know what I would need to replace the bearings and if its a doable job?
Cheers

You can buy some decent loose 3/16" bearings and replace the caged stock ones, checking the races for pitting.

They are a conventional loose ball type, just narrower..
After cleaning them out, and carefully inspecting the tracks the balls roll around in,
If they were showing damaged races in the shell, rather than the axle cones
then I'd consider replacing the hub with one with a dynamo, for always there lights.
since the cup races are part of the hub.
Thanks guys!
I opened it up to take a look and there weren't any caged bearings. It seemed a little dry though so I cleaned it all out, inspected everything and regreased and now its behaving itself again. I measured the ball bearings at just under 5mm, so you were right about the 3/16ths
